Danielle Egnew
Entertain…. You don’t need a degree to do that !
Jason Denney was shocked the day he
interviewed slim, sculptural, statuesque musician Danielle Egnew. “The
Woman’s got to be a alien!” he found himself
thinking that day at the restaurant. The
woman could eat more than anyone he had met before. So the question that popped upin his mind was “ Why do people that
eat so much remain skinny while others on a constant diet pile up pounds?” It was
not “ Why is that woman so talented?”.
Denney’s theory on this mystery, the first one that is, the one about weight was that Danielle has so much energy, so many different talents and so much on her plate, no pun intended, or perhaps yes with pun intended, that it gobbles up, so to speak, all of her calories no matter how many she pumps in.
At first the writer thought of the typical story, recanting her bio and listing her accomplishments which he did but then he thought “Well anyone who frequents My Space or iJamr can find that out. So is that what that person is all about? A resume, a list? No Danielle is more interesting when she is human, when she eats a lot, when she is simple and when she says: -
“ All I wanted to do is entertain and you don’t need a degree to do that.”. Bingo! That’s what makes for a Diva, simple, to the point, secure and no false pretenses.
Okay, has a great following, she’s a musician, a lesbian, she’s been in movies, she writes, she scores, she composes and all that jazz. Good but would you like to know something real interesting about her?
It’s a secret but Jason will gladly share it with you. The woman is a Clairvoyant Here it is.
….You don’t need a degree to do that

However, although this incredibly talented artist can see your future, when it comes to herself she has a difficult time. However she knows the ropes, knows her goals and they are very clear.
She wants you to know her in the raw. She wants you to know that she is over 40, never had a face lift and probably never will, although she cannot predict that one.
She wants you to know that she loves Renie Oxley’s comedy script ‘GirlBand’ which she’ll share with you soon once it’s in the can as she will do with her own production ‘Imogen’s Waltz’..
Of course, Danielle is above all a musician, so much so that famed guitar maker Minarick Guitars offered to endorse her so impressed were they with her white trash Little Montana Town sound. But don’t let her two penny hooker look in her appearance in ‘The Vagina Monologues’ next to Jennifer Beals, Alexandra Hedison and Mayda DelValle throw you off, Danielle is as serious in her craft as anyone can be. Proof is in the pot (Is that another pun?), the woman makes the proverbial “Anyone can be Someone” ring more true than ever…. And she was still eating additional entrees she had ordered as Jason was half an hour ago already done with desert.
