Description: LaShea V. Money is a native of Troy, Alabama. She started singing in church at an early age. She grew up singing classical, opera, & gospel music. LaShea is Know in her community as a young lady with a powerful singing voice and heart for singing Gospel and Classical music. The 25-year old Music Industry Major is also a member and regular soloist of the Troy University Gospel Singers. She is also the founder of the Voices of Ilios Christian Ensemble [V.O.I.C.E.] singers of Troy, Al. LaShea has recorded background vocals for numerous artists. She has performed twice at the WEUP Radio Station's Annual June Black Arts Festival in Huntsville, Al. In fact after LaShea Auditioned in Atlanta, in 2003, as a mezzo-soprano for the Metropolitan Opera, judges complimented her on her beautiful, rich, and dramatic vocal tones, and encouraged her to pursue singing as a career. Classically trained and spiritually commissioned, LaShea presses toward the mark of her "true calling"- which is to sing for God and God's beloved people. In her upcoming album, LaShea answers the call God has placed on her life and boldly calls on God for faith, hope, love and above all --love. LaShea V.
