iJamr is the site where musicians, singers and comedians upload
their music and acts in order to reach huge numbers of potential customers via iJamr grids displayed on millions of website homepages.
I have 4 albums, can I upload them all ?
Yes. At this point you can upload as many albums as you wish. However
each track file cannot be more than 10Mb
Are there any hosting fees ?
None.
Will I be charged hosting fees in the future?
No. If we ever start charging hosting fees, which we don't plan to do, any albums you have uploaded before that time will remain
free of hosting fees. Upload as many albums as you want now, completely free of charge.
Is getting a Music Grid on my website free of charge ?
Yes.
Why would people buy music from grids on sites that are not necessarily
music-related ?
Compare visiting a website to going to a convenience store for a
particular item.
At the check-out counter, you pick up an item totally unrelated to
the reason for your visit. "Impulse Buying" will also take place via iJamr grids on website owners' homepages, the convenience stores of the Internet. While visiting a website carrying the grid people can peruse numerous album
covers at a glance, select music to listen to for free and decide then and there to buy it.
Suppose a client buys the physical CD. How do they get it ?
When a client buys your 'Physical CD', first they pay us. Once
their payment has cleared we will send you, the musician,
a stamped envelope addressed to the client. All you have to do is place your CD in
the envelope and mail it to the buyer. Once we verify that the client has received the
CD, we pay you and the site owner your corresponding shares.
How do the grids of iJamr work ?
Musicians upload their music on iJamr to expose it to as many potential
buyers as possible.
Someone owns a website (not necessarily related to music). That person
wants to sell music on his/her website. They register on iJamr as a 'Music Grid Publisher', just another name for a
website owner. From iJamr library of artists, site owners select the music they wish to carry on
their grids . This completes the registration process.
They will then receive a code via e mail. After a person pastes this code
on his/her site, the grid will appear with all the music in it that the
website owner has selected to display on his grid.
Can a website owner add music to the grid at a later date ?
Yes. The Music Grid Publisher can at any time login with their User name
and Password and add music to their grid or remove music from it.
The grid will expand or contract to accomodate these changes.
