When you register as a iJamr™ musician, customer or Retailer / Publisher, iJamr™ collects personal information such as name, date of birth, billing address, telephone number, e-mail address, music preferences, and credit card information to create a unique musician,customer or Retailer / Publisher profile and to verify U.S. Residency. A password is also selected to be used in combination with your username to allow access to the iJamr™ account. The username is associated with personal information through a musician, customer or Retailer/Publisher ID # and is used when making purchases, tracking purchase history, accessing iJamr™ reports and contacting iJamr™ for support. Your musician customer or Retailer/Publisher profile is stored on secure servers that are protected in controlled facilities.

 

In order to correctly track your purchases, we keep track of which iJamr™ fan sites you have used to make your purchases. This allows you as a musician, customer or Retailer / Publisher to easily contact the site owner for recommendations or with any questions relating to iJamr™ downloads, purchases, or opportunities.

 

Demographic information such as ZIP Code, age, gender, preferences and interests may also be collected and used to help the entertainment industry in selecting the best ways to promote their product and to help us ensure that we are providing the best services possible for our musicians, customers and Retailers/Publishers.

 

Musicians, customers and Retailers / Publishers using the iJamr tool and online community have options to provide additional personal information when creating a public profile. We encourage you to use caution when providing personal information. Information you share on these forums may be collected and used by others. iJamr™ is not responsible for identifiable information provided on the online forums.

 

When introducing friends, family and colleagues to the iJamr™ opportunity, customers and Retailers may elect to transfer iJamrRewards to non-iJamr™ Customers. In order for iJamr™ to fulfill these requests, certain personal information such as name, address and e-mail address may need to be collected. Information collected for use in the transfer of iJamrRewards to a non-iJamr™ customer is used only for the purpose intended.

 

In addition to the information listed above, iJamr™ collects additional information such as legal address, social security number, and team information from its Retailers / Publishers in order to correctly calculate and pay commissions according to our Compensation Plan. For purposes of establishing a strong team relationship, team members are able to contact you via email using tools in the iJamrRewards web site(under construction). Your email address is not shown using these tools in order to protect your privacy.

 

iJamr™ does not sell, rent or lease personal information such as musician, customer or Retailer / Publisher lists to third parties. There may be times that iJamr™ will contact you on behalf of a iJamr™ partner with an offer that may be of interest to you, however your personal information is not transferred or disclosed.

 

In the event iJamr™ hires third party companies to provide services such as order fulfillment or customer service to establish the best possible service for our musician, customer or Retailer / Publisher. These companies will be provided with only the information necessary to complete the needed service. In the event that iJamr™ uses third party companies for these purposes, they are obligated to adhere to these privacy policies.

 

We may also disclose your personal information as required by law, litigation or to comply with legal process or to protect and defend the rights and property of iJamr™. We may also disclose information about you if we determine that disclosure is necessary for the safety of iJamr™ musician, customer or Retailer / Publisher, the public, national security, or law enforcement reasons.

 

 

Protection of your personal information is extremely important to iJamr™. We take extensive measures to be sure that your personal information is protected from unauthorized access, use, loss, theft, or damage. iJamr™ uses secure socket layer (ssl) encryption when transmitting highly confidential information such as password and credit card information over the internet.

 

You must type the correct password to access your iJamr™ account. It is your responsibility to ensure the security of your iJamr™ password and not to reveal this information to others. You can also help protect your personal information by changing your account password frequently. We also suggest that you periodically verify the all personal information for correctness and update any needed information when the changes occur.

 

 

You can always add, update, delete or make other changes to the information in your iJamr™ customer or retailer profile. You may close your iJamr™ customer or retailer account at any time by sending an email from your email account on file to support@ijamr.com with a subject line of "close account".

 

iJamr™ may at its sole discretion cancel the membership of any customer or retailer at any time. iJamr™ will cancel your customer profile if it remains inactive for an extended period of time.

 

 

iJamr™ may use "cookies" and other technologies that allow us to provide a better online experience for our customers and retailers. This technology allows us to collect information about what sites our customers are visiting, where they are spending the most time and what sites customers  use to create their own account. To ensure that we are sending information to our customers and retailers that is viewed as valuable, we also may use technology that will allow us to determine which messages are being opened. In order to obtain beneficial information relating to the specific interests of our customers and retailers we may use "click-though url" which connect to our web-server before arriving at the destination page. This allows us to collect information so that we can offer the most valuable resources to you.

 

You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers are automatically set up to accept cookies, however if you choose the decline cookies you may be unable to access certain areas of the iJamr™ web site.

 

In order to collect information about our entire customer and retailer base, iJamr™ also collects demographic information, that does not identify the individual musician, customer or Retailer / Publisher, regarding the operating system, browser type, internet service provider (isp), internet protocol address (ip), and the entering and exiting web site addresses. This information is used solely for determining the movements of our customers and retailers and is not used for marketing purposes.

 

 

iJamr™ does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If the date of birth entered shows the customer or retailer is above the age of 13, personal information collected is used as described in this privacy policy.

 

In the event that iJamr™ provides links to other websites, iJamr™ is not responsible for the privacy of these sites. You should be sure to view the privacy policy of each site you visit.
